Montserrat College of Art is “Where Creativity Works“. In my most humble of opinions, I feel as though their brand identity as a fine art school could use a little creative work.

This assignment entailed creating a refreshed branding guidelines from one of a list of selected local brands, businesses, and non-profits. I chose to strike close to home with my own alma mater, Montserrat.

What makes the school unique is its ability to flex its curriculum to the individual student, rather than strictly to the guidelines of the concentration you choose to study. The school is also fairly young, so I wanted to create a branding language that gave an air of professionalism that I feel would boost the school’s credibility.
