Many people know that Salem, MA (also known as the Witch City) is a tourist hotbed during the Halloween season. What many people don’t know is how the city became that way!

The Halloween Museum of Salem is a small family-oriented experience in downtown Salem, geared towards telling the story of Halloween from the city’s perspective. The Museum goes into detail about historical events such as the Salem Witch Trials and the Age of Sail, through the modern day in formats like movie magic.

I worked with the Halloween Museum (and it’s sister properties) from Fall 2020-2023. I was a guide for their seasonal night tour, a retail associate in their multiple shops, and at times lent my hand to their marketing team. For them, I took photos, created a website (now defunct) and did some mockup material for a new tour they were workshopping at the time.
